(PORTUGUÊS) (NEDERLANDS)
If by chance you stumbled upon my page Yoga & More and you intend to read it, read it without prejudice. You can also ignore it and just read my stories about my life in Portugal. I would be thrilled with that alone. If you do hang around here now, I have some advice.
Let the words sink in and then let it go. You don't have to think anything of it. It's mental. Feel it. Or don't. Free choice. The question always arises: is it believe first and then know or is it know first and then believe? Whatever your idea of knowing and believing or believing and knowing, an open mind is always helpful when you encounter something new. I hope to see you back here on the Yoga & More page or on my other ‘normal’ blog about my life and please let me hear from you if you feel like it.
The seven values
You are reading this because you are interested in what makes you human, and you know that you are more than a material-scientifically proven physical body. There is more between heaven and earth than your five senses can register.
We humans think it is the most normal thing in the world that we can create anything, think of something and then shape it in whatever way we want. How that works, we never really give much thought. No animal can do what we humans can do.
For me, the only life question was: How then? After 75 years on this earth, I know a little more and the evidence that it works the way I think it works is piling up. Not that I feel any need to come up with evidence. I know something. Nothing more.
Most people around me also know something, otherwise they wouldn't come near me. Working together, training, meditating creates something special, namely a collectively felt energy form that is above us, below us, around us and within us. That energy form is everywhere in the universe. It is that which makes us live. It is the life force present 24/7.
All people can consciously make use of that life force. There is only one condition: discovering what moves us in life. Who am I? Why do I do, speak or think something particular? Am I guided by my unconscious programming or is it always a conscious choice?
Getting our thinking and drives in order is the first step. The second is to be aware of who we are during the day and our motives for why we think, say or do something.
This process of awareness has human values that provide guidance.
Putting ORDER in your thinking, emotions and in the words you choose. Do you need to say or do something?
Learning to use your FREE WILL in the only right way and that is: for developing confidence that you are always guided by something much bigger than yourself. In everything you do. That you are reading this or are in my teachings means that you have been listening and that you can now use your own free will to stay on this path or return when you have strayed. Nothing human is alien to us.
Taking the time to turn all your knowledge into UNIVERSAL WISDOM and testing everything. Is it true?
An in-depth examination of how SINCERE you are in life. Towards yourself and others, towards nature and animals.
Training your PATIENCE. In everything you think, say and do. Can you wait for life to unfold or do you force it with willpower?
Can you feel that life force equals love? A UNIVERSAL LOVE that is infinite and knows no conditions. A love that propels you forward in life. If that is what you want? The choice is always free and up to you.
When you go through this process, you will be able to live with COMPASSION. Not just in words and rehearsed or learned actions because that's the way it should be. From your heart and all your cells, without conditions.
These seven values are connected to the seven centres of consciousness (chakras) in our body and affect our physical and mental health.
When we let our lives be guided by our programmed subconscious, we are victims. We are in the service of something. We are not ourselves. That means we need all sorts of things outside ourselves to sustain our lives and health. Money, stuff, pills and powders. When we don't have that, we are dissatisfied and the world bears the blame for the circumstance we are in.
In contrast, when we ourselves are masters of our consciousness, thinking and emotions, life looks a lot better. We can solve our own problems, maintain or regain our health, and as a satisfied human being, assist others on their path to awareness.
